Although not a priority, it would be good to see any new member introduce themselves on this thread, so we get to know a little about you.
I know the majority of posters will initially be from Shinto Judo Club, but we do have some members who are not club members, such as Mongo and Mike Hanon, Ptnippon all are good friends of mine with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in Judo.
So please feel free to make yourself known to us in this thread,

Hi, My name is Steve Leadbeater, I've been asked by Stephen to join this forum to add a little "Down Under' aspect to the threads.
I've been involved with Judo since 1965, I live, work (if thats what you call it) and train in Sydney AUSTRALIA.
Some people on this forum know me, some have been unfortunate to meet me and even spend time with me.
Stephen has threatened to come and visit me in Sydney if I don't write something here, so, I'll invite you to ask me about Antipodean Judo and I will endeavour to answer your questions.

Hello everybody,
My name is Tad Onchi, and I just recently joined this lovely forum by invitation by Stephen.(Possibly to bring a bit of American flair to the fourm )
I have been born and raised in Portland, OR and myself have been involved in Judo since 1992 since my grandfather got me into it. Some people know me and others may not but, that just means we have a chance to get to know each other.

HI everyone,
My name is Scott Moore. I live in Denver, Colorado, USA. Stephen invited me to join the forum. I have been studying judo for 20 years. I am also legally blind and have been a member of 3 US Paralympic teams (Atlanta '96, Sydney '00, and Athens '04). I am now retired from international competition but am the assistant coach for the team this year for Beijing!
I'm looking forward to seeing this forum grow and I am really looking forward to attending Judo Summit 3 next year in London!
Thanks Stephen!

Crap, Leadbeater is on here!!! Don't listen to him, he's full of crap. I should know, I've drank with him in Oz. Yes, that's right, I was duped to go to Australia and meet the man, the myth, the legend that is Leadbeater.
Who am I?
My name is Jason Hussong and I'm from Denver, Colorado USA. I train under JudoScott. I;ve been practicing judo for five years now. If any of you have figured it out yet, or why Stephen thought of naming me with Hanon and PTNippon, I'd appreciate you letting me in on that secret since they're the ones with the wealth of knowledge he refers to.

It would appear I'm the Canadian Content.
I'm a fortysomething "maudit anglais" from Montreal in the Province of Quebec Canada. I have a nidan in judo and a bit of High school and college wrestling under my belt. (or should that be my tights?)
In my day job I'm an engineer and father of three.
I'm flattered at being invited to join

Hi Phil,
I see you got roped in with the rest of us dodgy reprobates.
I suppose there is something not Kosher if The Guv needs
to have a bunch of Yanks, a Canadian, a Welshman and an
Aussie on his team to help him.
