Sunday 27th June 2010 was the date for the Hertfordshire schools championship in Berkhamsted. A mixed judo association event, normally very busy but due to another BJA championship on the same day many categories had minimal entrants.
First up was Rhiannon Shand who showed some good judo to win gold. Denvir Ibrahim always seems to have large categories just got court in his last fight and got silver. Aysegul Memhet had another tough group and managed a bronze. Jordon Forbes Amos won 2 out of 3 to win bronze. Georgia Greenidge had only 1 fight which she was unlucky not to win so she got silver. Grifton Forbes Amos fought really well winning 3 out of 4 to a silver medal. Samuel seemed to be out gunned in a very strong group and got a bronze. Alethea Calvert Jordon showed no mercy to winning another gold and Hannah James got revenge from her last competition by beating her opponent to gold.
